DESCRIPTION: Chauncey Jerome, New Haven, Conn., 8 day, weight driven, brass movement OG shelf timepiece (rare OG as a time only)
CONDITION: Mahogany veneered case has an old finish has some veneer repairs on the outer band. The OG molding is now black which is very unusual as OG moldings are always veneered. Someone may have taken off the original veneer or painted right over the veneer (difficult to tell?). Original tablet has loss in the center. Original dial has been repainted. Hour hand has been shortened. Dark label inside with the overpasted strip added to cover the 30 hour part of the label.
